Biography

Nightshade Music is a digital label, focusing on the melodic side of tech house/techno, and the techy side of progressive & house. Launched in February 2008 by industry veterans Nosmo & Kris B, the label met with immediate success.  Nightshade releases hit top sales charts on Beatport, Juno, DJDownload, Dancerecords.com and Audio Jelly, with top 20 spots on the Balance and Release promo charts, an 8/8 pick of the month for M8 Magazine, and several compilation signings.  Support for the label has come from some of the most respected DJ's & producers in the world; Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Hernan Cattaneo, James Zabiela, Jody Wisternoff, Matt Darey, Eelke Kleijn, Pako & Frederik, Jaytech & Matt Rowan and more, with tracks featured on BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM (UK & Russia), Frisky, Proton and literally hundreds more playlists, charts, podcasts and radio sets.

Label heads Kris B and Nosmo were first known for their groundbreaking electronic group Grayarea, with releases on Hope, Bedrock, Global Underground, Silver Planet, Distinct'ive; and having remixed artists: Hybrid, Steve Porter, Bedrock, Thrill Kill Kult and many more.  They have recently joined forces again, live and in the studio, with some highly acclaimed new productions on top labels; Baroque, Aurium, Release and Flow, remixing artists such as Astro & Glyde, Nalin & Kane and D:Fuse & Hiratzka.  Nightshade Music has a top notch list of remixers to work with in the near future, including: Morgan Page, Jaytech, Subsky, Bill Hamel, Spirit Catcher, Oliver Koletzki, Eelke Kleijn, Randall Jones, Kered & Kiraly, Blake Jarrell, Slytek, MV, Wize, Joel Armstrong, Ben Brown and many talented new producers from around the globe.
